Leads are standard with coded nines and 10s in no trump.
With three small if there is sequence we will play the top of the sequence otherwise will be MUDD
Upside Down Count and Attitude
- Low card after partners lead is encouraging, high is discouraging. Only discard a high card you can afford to lose.
- Low card after opponents lead is even card count, high is an odd card count
When there are touching card always play the lowest touch as the low card and highest for the high
When partner bids a suit and it is not supported, high indicates shortness and low is length. Watch for possiblity of singleton if you have > 5
Odd/Even
- Odd is encouraging
- Even is discouraging and shows suit preference, high request the higher of the unplayed suit and low even requests lower of the unplayed suit
- Two odd cards played from high low is a discouraging signal as partner only has odd cards to play
- Playing of a 6 is an indication partner has no benefical lead.
